Danger from UV Radiation
– Causing sunburn skin, premature aging skin, risk of skin cancer.
– Without protection, it will affect the eyes, causing corneal inflammation, macular degeneration.
– Causing pterygium, cataract, pinguecula in the elderly.
– The risky group should be aware; children, elderly, tourist and those who work outdoors continuously for a long time.
How to do UV Protection
– Children, elderly and those who have sensitive skin should stay in the shelter or the shade.
Avoid exposure to sunlight during times of high UV radiation (from 10.00-16.00 hrs.)
-If necessary to exposure to the sunlight, you should wear a lightweight long-sleeved shirt, good ventilated, open an umbrella, wear a wide-brimmed hat, wear sunglasses, apply SFP30+ sunscreen every 2 hours.
For those who have to work outdoors, the working schedule should alternately with resting indoors periodically.
